FT Interactive Data wanted to update its existing sales reporting database - this included:

	Re-designing the User Interface to Microsoft UI guidelines
	Adding new reports
	Incorporating intelligent Active X controls to allow the logical sorting, grouping and exporting of data
	Optimising the system for use over their LAN
